The chefs at Guts & Glory are daring. Their unique concept proves it all – each season the menu gets newly inspired by a different animal. How does this play out? They work with various styles and cuts of meats and fish, carefully crafting dishes that honor the purity of the ingredients. Anywhere from 5 to 7 dishes are served up in the company of a flawless wine selection to further delight you.
Guts & Glory feels intimate and the interior is simple; freshly modern with painted white brick walls, dangling light bulbs and wooden, rustic furniture. The space is divided over two floors with an open kitchen downstairs and a small bar with seats and one table. The balance of the tables are found upstairs; a high-up perch from which you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the Utrechtsestraat.
These masters are out to prove with passion that their riffs on delicious veggies defy all memories of that mushy, overcooked broccoli you might remember from your younger days.
