Here comes the sun

From the outside, La Esquina might not look like much but don’t let that simple book cover fool you.  The EMPLOYEES ONLY sign hides the entrance to the exclusive tequila bar and brasserie helmed by Derek Sanders. Once you have proven to be one of the lucky few with a reservation, you take a quick walk through the kitchen and into the bar/restaurant area. Once inside you will find worn stone walls, metal work and an amount of tequila that is threatening Mexico with an agave shortage. The dimly-lit restaurant acts as the perfect hangout for celebrities and foodies alike.

The kitchen is well known for their expertise in Mexican cuisine; the menu offers a variance of small bites, tostadas and of course Tacooooos! With the abundance of tequila it is important to drink something lighter every now and then, and so La Esquina thought of something special to quell your thirst. Something we have all been waiting for: cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. Olé!
