Graphite

hidden diamonds

In a former hotel bar, once filled by jazzy piano sounds, you find this new speakeasy style restaurant. Hidden behind a closed facade. A personal QR code gives access to the small bar where you can acclimatize while enjoying a refreshing dark coloured cocktail. The used graphite is a reference to the diamond factory that was located here in the 19th century. The specious restaurant area has comfortable love seats, a mystical interior and a tool set that would make a Japanese doctor happy. Here a former Michelin chef from the other part of The Netherlands continues his refined love for vegetables and herbs. The menu consists of a series of up to 20 preparations that blend into each other in terms of taste. There are certainly diamonds between them. The challenging reservation procedure has recently been replaced by a ticket system, so no excuse not to discover this veiled world.
